the Commercial & Flat Roofs We Install
Ballasted EPDM Roof
A ballasted EPDM roof is a roofing system where an EPDM membrane (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) is laid loosely and then held in place by a layer of ballast, typically stones or pavers. This system is known for its durability, ease of installation, and cost-effectiveness
Mechanically Fastened EPDM Roof
A mechanically fastened EPDM roof secures the EPDM membrane and underlying insulation to the roof deck using plates and fasteners. This method is cost-effective, durable, and suitable for various wind uplift requirements, particularly in re-roofing applications. However, it can be prone to fluttering or ballooning in windy conditions and may reduce insulation efficiency due to the mechanical fasteners serving as thermal bridges.
Full Adhered EPDM Roof
The fully adhered application is an extremely secure EPDM rubber roofing installation method. The technique bonds the rubber membrane and insulation boards to the roof deck using water-based bonding adhesive, providing unparalleled wind resistance and stability.
PVC
PVS (polyvinyl Chloride) is a single-ply white membrane used in both commercial and residential roofing. Due to the membrane being white, it reflects heat instead of absorbing it. PVC is a great option if you have a flat roof over a living space because it will keep the room below cooler. It is also a great optioni over non-living spaces like a garage or covered patio.
TPO, or Thermoplastic Polyolefin, is a popular single-ply roofing membrane known for its durability, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. It’s commonly used on commercial buildings and is gaining popularity in residential applications due to its ability to withstand weather conditions and provide a watertight seal. TPO is generally less expensive than other single-ply roofing options like PVC.
When you’re looking for specialized installation for something like built-up roofing, we’re the right company to call. This heavy roofing style requires experienced experts.
The Benefits of Commercial flat Roofs
1. Durability
3. Cost-Effectiveness
Flat roofing can be a more cost-effective solution, particularly for commercial buildings, especially when compared to traditional sloped roofs. This can be attributed to the simplified installation process, less labor-intensive materials, and potentially lower material costs.
