Large storms rolled through the south Twin Cities metro last night, Wednesday, July 18th, 2019, bringing large, 2 inch golf ball sized hail with it.
Storms seemed to pop up all over southern Minnesota during the overnight hours into Thursday, but a severe hail storm producing significant hail came swooping through Dakota county between 4:20am and 4:45am. Hail has been reported by some users on Twitter as large as golf balls. Many homes and cars have been damaged.

Areas Affected by Hail
A majority of the homes affected were in Prior Lake, Savage, Lakeville, and Burnsville. Roofs, siding, and windows were damaged due to the massive hail that it brought.
